Interim Pastor...................................................................Rev. Aristides “Aris” Fokas

 A life-long resident of Lancaster, PA, Rev. Fokas is a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School, Franklin and Marshall College, and Lancaster Theological Seminary. He trained at York Hospital for Clinical Pastoral Education (1 unit). He is also trained in Intentional Interim Ministry. Rev. Fokas was ordained in 1996 and has since served as a college chaplain (F&M College) and an Assistant Director of Community and Public Service, a work camp facilitator (focusing on issues of homelessness) at Old First Reformed UCC in Philadelphia, a settled pastor in Reading, PA, an interim at Emmanuel UCC in Freysville, PA. Rev. Fokas is also a PA National Guard Chaplain. During ’05-’06 CH (CPT) Fokas served two tours in Iraq. Rev. Fokas has four dogs and has over the years done several “Blessing of the Animals” services for local Humane Societies.

Minister of Music................................................................Mrs. Darlene Miner

Our music program is under the direction of Darlene Miner.  She has ministered through music for more than 30 years at three different area churches.  She currently directs The Joyful Singers (children's choir), The Praise Choir (youth choir), The Sanctuary Choir (adult choir), The Men's Chorus, The Chime Choir, The Orchestra, and The Praise Team.  Darlene is also active in volunteering through music in the community.

Secretary..............................................................................Mrs. Michele Hamme

Michele started her administrative ministry at Lischey’s Church during 2004. She brings a wealth of prior financial, secretarial and administrative experience to the church. She also blesses us with her faith. She is active in her own church as a choir member and as the Treasurer.

 

Sextons............................................................................Blaine and Diane Breeden

 

Blaine and Diane have served Lischey’s as Sextons since January 1998. In addition to preparing the church for the activities of the week and caring for the Cemetery, they are active in the leadership of the church. Both sing in the Sanctuary Choir and are adult leaders for the youth programs. Diane is the Sunday School Superintendent while Blaine is a teacher. Blaine sings in the Men’s Choir and plays trombone in the church orchestra. They have two teenage daughters who are also very active in the life of the church.
